Dr. Daniel Kawuma (Pharm.D) has previously worked with the City of St. Paul Minnesota Department of Health, Walgreens and CVS/Caremark and is currently a Pharmacy Manager for Wal-Mart Inc., adjunct faculty at Marshall University College of Pharmacy and LECOM School of Pharmacy. He is a licensed Pharmacist in the States of Massachusetts, Maryland, Florida and Texas. Mr. Kawuma was the President of the Macalester College African Student Association, Committee member of Gwanga Mujje Washington DC(2015-2017), UNAA Council Representative Mid-Atlantic Region 2 (2012-2014), a member of the UNAA Harmonization Committee (2016-2017) and is the current President of the Ugandan North American Association. He completed his early education in Uganda at Budo Junior School and King’s College Budo prior to receiving a United World College scholarship to attend Red Cross Nordic United World College (IBDP) in Norway. Mr. Kawuma completed his undergraduate studies in Saint Paul, Minnesota at Macalester College (BA) and graduate school at the University of Minnesota attaining a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D).

Engr. Andrew D Mwase is currently Co-proprietor and Director of KyM Properties and Investments an organization that is involved in property development and management in the North East USA. Andrew is also the Global Project Manager for CQV Engineering at ThermoFisher Scientific and has managed several projects at several Biotechnology Companies. Andrew completed graduate studies in Project Management, Leadership & Innovation and International Business Management at Boston University and Biotechnology Engineering at Tufts University Medford, MA. He also serves as a board member on several nonprofits and is vested/engaged in several other small businesses.
Chief Financial Officer
Allan Mugisa is an accountant, writer and financial advisor. Over the past decade he has worked in a wide variety of professional capacities in the private sector. He graduated from Salem State University, in 2007, with a Bachelors in Business Administration. He earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance in 2008 through the Salem State University MBA program. Allan worked for Cognos, an IBM Company, as a junior accountant. There, his duties included processing refund payments on software licenses, collections and assisted with preparing various financial reports for management. He currently works as a senior accountant with the Bank of New York Mellon, the world’s biggest global custodian bank, handling large-volume financial services for large corporations. Here, he handles private equity valuations, transactions and reporting for large endowments, pensions and foundations. He is the author of ‘A guide to creating a successful small business’ which is available on Amazon in both English and Luganda. Allan also provides personal finance analysis and advice customized to each individual’s long term and short-term goals believing that a thorough understanding of someone’s financial situation can pave way to financial independence.

Ms. Miria Bukirwa is a Broker Commissions Analyst at Health Net/Centene Corporation. She has been in the Healthcare industry for the last ten years specifically working in the accounting area related to billing, broker commissions and a subject matter expert on different projects related to departmental accounting policies and procedures. Prior to that, she was in the banking world under Citibank/CitiMortgage in various capacities that included supervising under their mortgage processing department and has a diverse knowledge of real estate processing and closing. She started her accounting profession as an Auditor trainee at PK Bahemuka and Co Certified Public Accountants in Uganda. Miria is an ardent evangelical Christian and is the Bookkeeper at Revival Power Ministries (RPM), Van Nuys California and Treasurer for the Leading Ladies under the same ministry. She has been blessed with speaking and youth mentorship opportunities at Kesogno-Kitake, Kenya in 2014 and she supports different church ministries in Uganda. Miria possess a BSc. In Accounting from California State University, Northridge (CA and an Associate Degree In Economics from Los Angeles Valley College, Valley Glen (CA).

James William Mugeni is the Executive Director/Founder, Fame Athletics Club, Tororo. James is formally a researcher and clinical instructor at Mbarara University (MUST) and foreign service national with the US Embassy in Kampala, Uganda under CDC, based in Atlanta Georgia. James possesses a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Public Health from the Fort Portal School of Clinical Medicine/Public Health and IAAF Certificates level I, II and diploma IV in athletics coaching. James is also a graduate of the Iowa Certified Public Manager program offered by Drake University.
